Designed and directed a multilateral co-investment structure spanning 28+ member governments and engaging 200+ financing programs worldwide, enabling structurally diverse institutions to coordinate resources across transdisciplinary research priorities without requiring shared legal frameworks. Work sustained coordinated action on climate, biodiversity, food systems, and sustainable development across six continents over six years.
Advised intergovernmental and multilateral bodies — including the UN Science-Policy-Business Forum — on the design of science-policy interfaces, the translation of research findings for decision-makers, and the architecture of processes that bring scientific knowledge into governance and corporate strategy. Partnered with institutions including the IRD (France) on transdisciplinary research coordination across the Global South.
Founded and scaled the Sustainability Research and Innovation Congress — an action-forward global platform that doesn't just convene, it activates: connecting researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and capital allocators to highlight progress, accelerate implementation, and drive collective action on sustainability challenges. Designed convening architectures for high-stakes multi-stakeholder processes ranging from intergovernmental negotiations to corporate sustainability dialogues.
Developed financing strategies, capital collaborative structures, and resource mobilization frameworks for organizations navigating the intersection of philanthropy, public finance, and private capital. Work has spanned blended finance architecture, nature-based solutions valuation, Indigenous capital mechanisms, and the development of new financing instruments aligned with global and regional sustainability agendas.
Negotiated and designed open data policies, digital object frameworks, and data governance principles across complex multi-institutional partnerships. Supported organizations in building the reporting infrastructure, data systems, and governance mechanisms that new regulatory environments — including ESG disclosure requirements and sustainability reporting standards — demand.
Guided corporations and private sector actors through the translation of global sustainability frameworks — including science-based targets, biodiversity commitments, and SDG alignment — into operational strategy. Work has included stakeholder landscape navigation, target-setting processes, and the design of implementation structures that hold across complex organizational hierarchies and value chains.
Built and sustained partnerships with organizations across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Pacific — including Indigenous and Pacific youth networks — working on financial innovation, sustainability transitions, and community-led development. Supported the development of financing instruments aligned with Agenda 2063 and regional sustainability frameworks, and facilitated connections between Global South institutions and international financing and research ecosystems.
Led the development of synthesis frameworks, total valuation methodologies, and evaluation systems for large-scale multi-stakeholder sustainability programs — coordinating synthesis across portfolios spanning 90+ countries and hundreds of partner institutions. Work has included translating complex multi-disciplinary research into accessible knowledge products for decision-makers, developing new metrics for valuing sustainability investments, and designing learning systems that support adaptive management across global programs.
